Hey guys!
Here's our acoustic cover of King Of Wishful Thinking by Go West - it's one of the most enduring songs of it's era, and not many people realise it was actually released in 1990. You can absolutely sense the production and fashion of the preceeding decade in the DNA of the original, and indeed we often think of this as an 80s song, which is really confusing.

When we sat down to arrange this absolute classic for just two instruments, it quickly became apparrent, at least for us, that the most iconic parts of the original are the synth brass stabs and rhythmic keyboard elements, so we decided to try and nail these with the ukulele. We think it sort of works, but we'll let you be the judge.
