Caribbean Champagne sailing | Ep115

Описание: We are starting to get a lot of people wanting us to compare the Caribbean with the Mediterranean. Well it's too early for us to give a fair comparison at the moment and it's quite a complex question which will need a dedicated video.
One thing's for sure though, the Caribbean has a wonderful reliable sailing breeze. I don't think we've had a day since we've been here that it hasn't blown 15-25 knots from the East. There's certainly some sporty sailing to be had and when it's this warm who cares about getting some sea spray in your hair?
In this episode we sail from Grenada to St Lucia with some wonderful stops in Bequia, Carriacou and Union Island and as ever there are multiple boat jobs to do.
Dyneema loops:
I started testing these loops last year after watching some videos from HowNot2 ( this is a good one...    • Are tapering splices that important in Dyn...   ) and them saying the Brummel lock adds nothing to the strength. It's a site aimed at climbers but there's some good info for us yachties.
