A suspension trainer is such an easy piece of workout equipment to make on your own and provides a huge variety of exercise options from beginner level to advanced. When I was first introduced to the TRX system, I immediately looked them up online and was shocked at the price. The TRX is a very high quality piece of equipment, but I couldn't justify spending that much on such a simple item, especially when I could make one on my own. I've been using suspension trainers for over 10 years and I consider it an essential piece of gear for my personal strength & conditioning. They are particularly useful for training the back and shoulders, and have helped me keep strong, healthy, and resilient shoulders since I started using them (I've NEVER had a shoulder injury). At a cost of just under $11, making your own suspension trainer is a no-brainer. As long as you have a place to use it, suspension training is a must for everyone at every fitness and strength level.
