Master Duel matches using Blue-Eyes in Season 46 / October 2025.
I made it to Master 1 at the time of posting this video.

======General Comments======

I was experimenting with different decks and ended up going back to Blue-Eyes (adjusted from Season 43 list) for season 46. Blue-Eyes made the climb more tolerable with how well it plays under Droll/Fuwa/MaxxC, but it wasn't exactly a walk in the park though. People are mainly teching against Maliss, Ryzeal, Mitsurugi, and Orcust, so seeing an opponent playing Ghost Orge was a rare sight. Originally I had a Magia build with the new Kaibaman, but it was bricking a little bit more often than my taste, so I replace all of those cards with more hand traps.

Grandtusk Dragon: I was going back and forth with DSOW and Grandtusk during my climb. Towards the end I decided to slot them both for different reasons. Grandtusk makes Spheres a form of 3 card removal.

Artifact Lancea: There was enough Orcust/Maliss on the ladder for me to keep playing 3 of them to survive the climb.

Typhoon: Interesting hand trap that came in clutch time to time. Yet, I put it up there with Artifact Lancea as being a "meta call". Typhoon is only helpful against decks with continuous spell/trap or field spells.

Gozen Match: Playing Regenesis last season opened my eyes on how powerful stun cards can be when it has synergy with your deck. Usually, I wait till the opponent summon a monster that is the "opposite" attribute of their deck before flipping this card over. i.e. Opponent summon a random water/fire monster when they are playing a deck mainly of dark monsters.

Extra Deck: The Extra Deck didn't really change from my Season 43 list. The biggest difference is replacing one of the Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon with Ancient Fairy Life Dragon. It is easier to perform an OTK as BESD (2500) + AFLD (3300) can do 5800 direct damage just themselves.
