Chef Alejandro Saravia visits Ballarat restaurant Ragazzone

It celebrates the produce, people and places of the whole state of Victoria.

From 1 September 2022, Ballarat and surrounds will take up as region in residency with a three month program of activity in the 250-seat venue overlooking the Yarra River.

To build the program of activity, executive chef and co-owner Alejandro Saravia explored Ballarat and surrounds to discover farmers, growers, artists, winemakers, distillers and stories.

Executive chef Liam Downes (Ragazzone, Moon and Mountain, Renard) joined Alejandro for a bite of lunch and provided his tips on where to eat and explore in the Ballarat region.
