The Airbike has been in production since 1995 and it mates a welded steel fuselage to an all wood wing. Standard features include an open cockpit, removable wings, steerable tail wheel, 4 point safety harness, fuel tank, factory welded fuselage and tail.

The options for the Airbike include various engines, folding wings brakes, trim, wheel pants, wing tips bucket seat, extra fuel, plus various quick build and assembly packages.

Editors note: The Airbike ultralight manufacturer ISON Aircraft has been sold to an Jordan Lake Aero. They currently offer the Air Bike 013, The Airbike LS, and the Tandem Airbike. This is probably one of the cheapest ultralight / experimental aircraft kits on the market. So if you are looking for a cheap ultralight aircraft kit the Airbike series might be the plane for you!

AirBike 103
FAR Part 103 legal, no pilot's license required to fly. Designed for 28hp engines such as the Rotax 277 or Hirth F-33. Build from plans, short kit or omplete kit. Complete assembly kit includes everything except engine, instruments and paint. Brakes, fiberglass wingtips and wheelpants are optional.
