Minneapolis police just killed a 23-year-old Black man at a traffic stop. Somali American Dolal Idd is the first known police killing victim in the city since George Floyd’s death. Police released body cam footage of the incident but local protesters say the video is inconclusive.
Idd’s father Bayle Gelle, along with many in the city, is now demanding answers: “He was just sitting in the car, and bullets were shot at him, and no reason [...] Why were they shooting? Because of color. He is a Black man.”
