Bratachari Movement was conceived & founded by Great Visionary, GURUSADAY DUTT, in 1932, British India. He was a Civil Servant of British Crown, in Undivided India as well a great Social Reformer.

Bratachari is NOT a mere physical activity or traditional Martial Arts, it's a Way of Life, inculcates Moral, Physical, Spiritual development as well as senses of Nationalism, Universal Brotherhood, Empathy towards needy & deprived segments of Humanity. In short, it's an unique Philosophy & Philosophical approaches to human beings, in their formative years so as Children grown up, they are expected to live with humanely manners, so Society is looked after well, irrespective of Colours, Faiths, Nationalities & narrow sub subjects/ fragmentation of our society.

Bratachari, was part of the Schooling Curriculum in Undivided Bengal at Secondary level & had 100 Marks in different Examinations. Dedicated Trained Teachers were imparting Training to all students, for many decades who were regular staff of each school.

Unfortunately, last few years, it has been removed from School Syllabus of West Bengal. Wisdom & reasons for its abolishment may be known to then ruling dispensation. Present regime in West Bengal has taken In Principle decision to revive & restore, its legacy & chequered heritage by including in School.

Hope, sooner, this subject gets its due recognition & formal inclusion in School Education Curriculum, with due diligence and sincerity, preferably from coming Academic Session 2203-2024. Staffing with qualified teachers/ trainers should start with Adhoc appointments as short term measures & provision of providing Books/Training Manuals to each students by Govt Agency, in line with other textbooks supply.

Such commitment on War Footings, can only restore its pride place Hearts & minds of Bengalis as well its pristine Glory & Ethos.

State Govt various departments/ Ministries are expected to showcase at different events within West Bengal, in other federal states & abroad, during Mega Events & among Bengali diaspora abroad.

Publication & Publicity tools, mediums, Forums including Social Media platforms can be harnessed in a befitting manner, which only ensures its pristine Glory & prestige at National & Global levels.

At National level & in partnership/ association other federal states and Union Government AYUSH Ministry, MHRD & Culture Ministry, MDNIY etc, Bratachari will also get it's due recognition & propagation among future generations of our Great country. Its contribution & role in our Freedom Struggle, cannot be overlooked.
Efforts to be made for getting a suitable place in NEP.
Founder's Biography, in Vernacular, English & other languages be made available, with WB agencies, NCERT, NBT as well on Web. Likewise, a Bio Pic movie to be made. We hope, in due time, UNESCO & other institutions will accord long overdue Recognition & support.

Support & participation of Bangladesh Government, its people, institutions & Civic Society cannot be overlooked as Late Gurusaday Dutt's chequered Civil Services stint during British Rule was undivided India, now Bangladesh, a sovereign country, His notable contribution/ endeavors were also in now Bangladesh.

God Forbid, like hundreds of other Indian heritage practices & traditional forms will vanish, get extinct.

3 landmark Anniversaries are falling due in very short span, Centenary of Bratachari Movement, 150th Birthday of legendary Founder & His Death Centenary.
His Birth Place, be declared a Heritage Building (if it still exists) or befitting Memorial be constructed in partnership with Assam Govt & people in Cachar Valley.
