On New Year's Day, I visited the town of Savannah. No, not Savannah, Georgia LOL. I visited the beautiful town of Savannah, Tennessee located in the Western part of the state. This city in Tennessee was actually named after the much older and historic Savannah, GA. This city has had a major role in American History, more specifically the Civil War, as it was the Cherry Mansion was the headquarters for Union General Ulysses S. Grant. Savannah has the small town charm with the big time role as a shipping hub in Tennessee. Hope you enjoy!!!
