CAULIFLOWER KEEMA

Ingredients

1 medium cauliflower, grated
1½ inch ginger piece, chopped
15-20 garlic cloves
3 green chillies
2 tbsps oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
¼ tsp asafoetida
Salt to taste
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
2 tbsps yogurt
8-10 cashewnuts, roasted and crushed (optional)

Method

1. Chop ginger, garlic and green chillies in a chopper.
2. Heat oil in a non stick pan. Add cumin seeds and asafoetida and sauté till golden. Add ginger-garlic-green chillies and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
3. Add cauliflower and mix well. Add salt, mix and cook for 1 minute.
4. Add coriander powder and red chilli powder and mix. Cover and cook on medium heat for 1 minute. Add yogurt and mix. Cover and cook on medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
5. Garnish with cashewnuts and serve.
