Learn how sexual trauma and intergenerational sexual trauma can be passed on inadvertently generation after generation, and what to do about it as a clinician. WEBINAR DESCRIPTION
Dr. Richard Chefetz writes, “Sexuality without sensuality needs investigation.” The absence of a clear and coherent sense of being present in a body and experiencing the sensations associated with sexual activity, including the simple sensual ones, is an indicator of the dissociative isolation of somatic experience from awareness. This workshop will focus on hypo- and hyper-sexualities from the lens of dissociative experience.

Discussion will include the epidemic of low desire among women and the increase in use of pornography at a young ages. The primary focus will be on treatment strategies for clinicians, particularly following neglect and abuse in childhood.
