If you've ever wanted to do any of these things, then this is the video for you! In 2022, I was invited to crew on a Hunter 460 sailboat from Astoria, Oregon to San Francisco Bay, CA, so OF COURSE I did it!
There's some good info in this video about crossing the Columbia River bar, as well as time spent in Coos Bay, Oregon, waiting on a weather window, some great drone footage of the massive bridge in Astoria, and video of us sailing along at 8 knots under the Golden Gate Bridge, seeing some historic boats, and eating some amazing food! I'll also upload two shorter videos of this passage that are about 15 minutes each and are in a series so you can watch them one at a time and only be out 15 minutes, or you can watch the whole video which is about 26 minutes long.
