We'll be cooking hot dogs at our Shareholders' Meeting to demonstrate NVE components for energy conversion. We want to be sure the device is safe, accurate, and cooks properly.
We qualify the cooker by testing three key systems, all of which are based on NVE components:
power control, to efficiently regulate power delivery;
current sensing, to monitor cooking energy and detect unsafe overcurrent; and
interlock sensing, to ensure the cooker only operates under safe conditions.
Finally, we'll cook a hot dog and verify its internal temperature with a meat thermometer, ensuring it meets USDA recommendations.
