Recently relaunched (train announcement in Pakistan), the Chenab Express train offers daily service with enhanced facilities, making it a reliable passenger option for travellers on this historic route. After the grand inauguration on the 5th, this is only the second day of the Chenab Express under private management by S Jamil and Company Railway. Covering the route from Sargodha Junction to Lalamusa Junction, we’ll see the train in action as it runs from 8:00 AM in Sargodha and arrives in Lalamusa by 12:00 PM. The same rake then becomes 136 DN, departing from Lalamusa at 4:15 PM and reaching Sargodha at 8:15 PM. Each day, Chenab Express completes two trips along this line, now operated under a new management to provide upgraded services to its passengers.

During this journey, you’ll experience:

1. A stop at Chilianwala Station where we capture a special encounter with the Millat Express (18 DN).
2. Early morning sights of Hazara Express (11 UP) at Sargodha Junction around 7:30 AM.
3. Passing through the iconic Diamond Crossing in Pakistan at Malakwal Station, a significant feature in Pakistan’s railway network, showcasing the intersection of tracks in an intricate diamond pattern.
