You know, we live and we learn and we grow! Well at least, we should. Transitioning to Sisterlocks highlighted and made clear the life I was already living and it just so happened to correspond with “adulting” in my forties. Adulting often times is completely overrated BUT there are some “rare gem moments” that make me shine and appreciate the growth and reaching that stage in my life. Did Sisterlocks do it? Nah. Did it enhance it? Absolutely! There is a certain freedom and approach to life that my loc sisters and brothers demonstrate. I think this aids in certain key transformations and perspective shifts, or at least it can couples with age and experience. 😆 I’m blessed to be here to experience life and all of its facets at all. I’ve learned to be thankful in spite of the circumstances. By now you know that I teach and share my lessons learned and nuggets of wisdom so my prayer is that you enjoy!
