For many years, WECU’s Giving Tree initiative has brought our community together to make the holidays brighter for local children in need.
Each season, Giving Trees are placed in WECU branches, inviting members and employees to select a tag, purchase a gift, and help create meaningful moments for families across our region. Together, this joint employee-member effort has impacted thousands of children and reflects the heart of what it means to be a cooperative.
In this video, we’re proud to spotlight our Bellingham-based partnership with The Salvation Army, featuring Shevaun Malone, Corps Officer, who shares how this collaboration helps ensure children experience hope, dignity, and joy during the holiday season.
