DCS World UH-1 Huey Landing Tutorial

Описание: DCS World flight simulator's UH-1 Huey, the most popular helicopter of the flight SIM program, and I show you the best technique to land it, from my experiences flying helicopters in the real world and many, many hours in this flight SIM.

00:00 - Intro
00:10 - we start our approach at 500 ft and about 75 knots - primary instruments: speed indicator and altimeter
00:50 - on the glide slope, collective down to establish AOA/rate of descent and cyclic aft - primary instruments: speed indicator and VSI
00:55 - cockpit reference
01:18 - maintain about a 200-300 feet per second rate of descent
01:58 - should be looking like the same speed all the way down to the hover
02:14 - when the helicopter begins to shake that means you are exiting ETL or effective translational lift or will be needing more power as you near the ground and are in IGE or in ground effect. Also remember you will be needing left pedal input to compensate for the torque below ETL.
