After listening to some old PVD sets at the weekend, I noticed that quite a few of the Trance percussion loops had this unique movement in them, so I decided to try and recreate it.

It adds a really nice movement to the loops and sounds almost like a scratching effect! Let's call it a wonky reso loop!

In this, I have just quickly picked some Trance percussion samples loops to experiment with, but you can use any of your own Trance drum samples or Trance drum patterns.
