Slow travel diary | London to Dublin (by train + ferry)

Описание: This slow travel diary from London to Dublin shows how you can get from England to Ireland without flying. Last August I travelled from London to Holyhead by train and then hopped on the ferry to Dublin port. In this video I take you along this slow travel journey.

Before I became interested in sustainable travel I had no idea how easy it was to get to Ireland without flying. A few years ago I quit flying for holidays and since then whenever I go away I travel by land or sea, mainly by train or ferry. And this trip has been one of my favourites so far.

If you’re interested in learning more about sustainable travel and seeing what other flight-free holidays look like I will be uploading more videos in the future which explore both.

*This journey was taken in August 2021. I'm aware that not everyone is able to travel internationally at the moment so I hope this provides some inspiration for when we are able to again.
