Описание: I already have several movies from Rijeka area, but this is truly something else! Continuing from movie #42, I take you on a climb from Viškovo to Saršoni and then over a high hill (330-500 m) for an incredible descent into the huge plain.

Taking you to the Rječina river spring (the river runs through Rijeka) and Kukuljani village first, I then turn to the plain itself, through Jelenje (and the hilltop church) and Dražice, ending beneath the town of Grobnik in a brilliant location.

From the climbs to descents, offroad to onroad, narrow forest paths to streets and wide open space nested between the hills and the mountains, this is really the best ride in the area. And part of the Rijeka bike route (without any bike paths, sadly).

And there's still enough landmarks and scenery left for part 2.

My special greeting this time goes to the kids who lie! :) I don't mean to trick or cheat, but to get attention or, most commonly, get out of trouble (especially for boys). I do agree with many experts that lying in kids is actually a sign of intelligence. Again, especially with the boys as they are usually the ones who always get in trouble. Good lies do require and thus develop deep thinking, attention to details and understanding and awareness of other people's feelings and knowledge so lying is perhaps a key in developing social skills. Besides, trying to see through them is also keeping us adults mentally fit. :) So never punish your kids for lying, but rather for lying badly, without much skill and finesse. Of course adult liers should be thrown to lions. ;)
