Описание: This young Fox Squirrel (Minnie) becomes a first time mom delivering two tiny healthy pups! The first 4 minutes of the video shows you Minnie (The pregnant fox squirrel) starting about an hour before she gives birth, and then shows several clips from the day showing the birth sequence, and then hearing the tiny squeaks of the newborn pups. 10 hours after the pups are born she moves to the side and you can actually see them as she cleans them and herself. There is a 30 second sequence at the start of the video showing when she actually got pregnant. Gestation for fox squirrels is about 45 days. The mating occurred 45 days prior to her going into labor. The second section of the video starts at about the 4 minute mark and it shows Minnie's behavior during the last 2 weeks leading up to the birth. You can see her become very possessive of the nest box the day before she goes into labor.
