torque Solutions phenolic spacers suck

Описание: I decided to buy a set of torque Solutions 3 mm phenolic spacers if I remember they were over $80 aud which is kind of a rip off. upon trying to fit them I realise that ever-so-slightly they interfere with the intake ports only by less than a millimetre I also noticed that the pins that hold the gasket in place and the spacer do not line up with the spaces that I purchased. long Runner ej25 I have a ej253 with a long Runner intake manifold I could have fixed the issue buy trimming them down , essentially Port matching them . however for the price I paid for them and the time and effort also considering I had to buy a second set of intake manifold gaskets I could have got a plastic manifold off a later model which would have saved a bit of weight and I trust Subarus ability to make parts that fit their own vehicles. also I am not really a fan of the potential risk of fibreglass ending up in my intake ports considering I just rebuilt the engine.
