From breathtaking ice castles to vibrant light displays, this winter wonderland was an unforgettable experience. Despite the freezing temperatures, I explored the festival, which costs $500 million to build annually and draws millions of visitors before melting away each year.

Beyond the festival, I dove into Harbin’s rich Russian heritage, visiting landmarks like St. Sophia’s Cathedral and experiencing the city’s unique cultural blend. One of the trip highlights was visiting a 24-hour luxury spa, where I experienced an intense Chinese body scrub that left me feeling cleaner than ever—definitely an unexpected but amazing experience!
