VIDEO CONTENTS:
[0:00] The Rovings
[2:01] Presoaking the fiber in a pan
presoak overnight in 16 cups of water with no acid
[5:55] Dyeing the fiber
1% dye stocks
Jacquard Bright yellow, dharma spearmint breeze, CHartreuse, deep magenta
NO acid in the fiber yet
[11:09] Adding acid
7 T white vinegar. wait 15 minutes before turning on the heat. (I don't want to add more water until the colors have set a bit)
[12:57] Heat setting
Add 2 cups of water + 2 T vinegar, pour on top of the yellow
[16:21] After 10 min, cover the fiber
Cover and heat for 30 more minutes
let the fiber cool off in the pan
[19:00] Washing the fiber
[21:43] The finished fiber and conclusions
