Tanti giovani ricercatori e ricercatrici sono coinvolti nel progetto #EinsteinTelescope (ET), la futura infrastruttura europea dedicata allo studio delle #ondegravitazionali. Ne abbiamo incontrati alcuni alla Sapienza Università di Roma in occasione del workshop “Einstein Telescope Science Workshop for Early Career Researchers” (18-20 febbraio). Maria Antonietta Palaia, dottoranda dell’Università di Pisa, ci racconta il suo lavoro quotidiano, le competenze messe in campo e le sfide scientifiche e tecnologiche che comporta un grande progetto come ET.
Many young researchers are involved in the #EinsteinTelescope (ET) project, the future European infrastructure dedicated to the study of #gravitationalwaves. We met some of them at Sapienza University of Rome during the workshop “Einstein Telescope Science Workshop for Early Career Researchers” (18–20 February). Maria Antonietta Palaia, a PhD student at the University of Pisa, tells us about her daily work, the skills she deploys, and the scientific and technological challenges that a major project like ET entails.
