Mandatory Food Licence for Schools
It is hereby informed that obtaining a Food Licence is mandatory for all schools where Mid-Day Meal is served or a School Canteen is being operated. Any school that fails to apply for the Food Licence shall hold the Head of the Institution personally responsible.
A registration drive for issuing Food Licences will commence in District Poonch from November 20, 2025, to November 25,2025 in collaboration with FSSAI and ACF Poonch.
All Heads of Schools, Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) and the nominated school Ambassadors are requested to join first online session of Eat Right School Certification on November 20, 2025, at 11:30 AM with this link: https://youtube.com/live/IvDRCW0hXJQ
