Hamleys toy store in London's Regent Street is one of the largest and oldest toy stores in the world. It was founded by William Hamley in 1760. It's founding store was based in High Holborn, but then moved to it current location in Regents Street in 1881.
The flagship store has 7 floors of toys, and is considered one of the city's prominent tourist attractions, receiving around five million visitors each year. The chain has ten other outlets in the United Kingdom and also has more than 60 franchises worldwide.
