Описание: This visit was a wonderful and relaxing experience for the soul, in which we left everything that distracts us from the mobile phone to the Internet, social media, the virtual world and other things that distract us from real life.
Our only wish before return was not to leave.. We were like children clinging to their mother, don’t want to get away from her.. And here the farm, by its charming nature, played the role of the mother.
But in the end we returned home with valuable information and experience.

One of the best trips I've been on.
The weather there is wonderful and the nature is charming, and the scene of the stars that shine in the sky dazzlingly makes you feel like you are swimming in space. And the sunset scene, which looks like a painting created by the creator (Allah).

At first it seemed strange... Why should we leave the city with all its luxury and go to the desert! To a place where there is no electricity, network, internet, air conditioning, or even a fan!

That question was on my mind until I got there. The answer was "nature". Everything there is from nature or organic, as some say.
Regarding to electricity, they use solar energy to generate electricity, as it is a renewable energy, and for the temperature which rises greatly in the summer .. All buildings are carefully designed and the materials used, allow good ventilation and maintain the temperature of the place, and lighting openings in the ceiling that act as a lamp from natural sunlight, so the room lights up during the day and darkens with sunset.

Nature is embodied in everything there, from carefully grown fruits and vegetables without any pesticides, to raising sheep and even hand-baked bread.

All of this is a true application of the concept of sustainable development, that vision on which Dr. Ibrahim Abouleish (may God have mercy on him) established us on it since we entered Heliopolis University.

We went on a tour around the farm to find out about it.
Accompanied by Prof. Sameh Fekry, Head of the Pharmacology Department at Heliopolis University, and Dr. Cassandra Quave, a dermatologist at Emory University in the USA, specialist in herbal medicine. They added great value to this scientific visit, as they provided us with a lot of information and we gained scientific and practical experience at the same time, as we collected different wild medicinal plants and we took part of them for medicinal herbarium samples and another part to extract the active constituents and do research on them.
