I discuss how we can reduce light pollution in our astrophotography by using light pollution suppression filters. Also, I review my Hutech IDAS LPS D1 filter. There are a lot of filters out there, from ultra high contrast to light pollution suppression and city light suppression filters. I like to look at the transmittance profile of filters to figure out how much of the artificial light pollution is blocked. Hope this is informative, clear skies!
