Not too long ago, I made the difficult decision to leave a career (my own business) that I wasn’t passionate about, that I had been doing for 18 years! And I finally realized… life is too short to spend most of it doing something that doesn’t inspire you.

As I paint this butterfly, I talk about what it felt like to walk away, how scary it was, and how choosing passion — especially my art — has changed everything. When you truly love what you’re creating, it doesn’t feel forced. It feels natural. Energizing. Meaningful. Even the hard days are easier because your heart is in it.

This butterfly felt like the perfect symbol of transformation — of growth, courage, and becoming who you’re meant to be.
