The Kennedy Center’s Disciple-Scholar Lecture is a chance for students and faculty to reflect on their dual nature as scholars and disciples of Jesus Christ. Join us to hear from Renata Forste, International Vice President of BYU, former director of the Kennedy Center, and former coordinator of Women’s Studies and Latin American Studies.
Renata Forste currently serves as the international vice president of BYU. Forste is a professor of sociology, previous chair of the Sociology Department, and a former associate dean in the College of Family, Home, and Social Sciences. Her research has focused on population studies, women and children’s health, and family research. She’s also served as coordinator of Latin American Studies and Women’s Studies and director of the Kennedy Center.
