This reclaimed wood bench is inspired by Restoration Hardware and the work of Jimmy DiResta. The bench was made with reclaimed construction 2x material (SPF, Doug Fir, and Redwood) and 1.5" x 3/16" square steel tubing. There are 2 versions in the video: the plain steel base with blocky seat and the acid treated steel base with a sculpted seat. You decide which you like best. Hopefully this inspires you to make something similar.
