ingredients :
Frozen puff pastry sheet( i used unroll brand from big basket)
For stuffing : for 6 puffs
oil 1 tb sp
green chilli minced 1 tb sp
chopped onion 1 cup
chopped veggies ( carrot , capsicum, peas, beans ) 1 cup each
turmeric a pinch
red chilli powder 1 tsp
garam.masala powder 1 tsp
Pav bhaji masala 1 tb sp
Salt
salt as needed
Method :
Thawing pastry sheet.
Take out puff pastry sheet from freezer and keep it out for about 45 minutes. After nearly 30 minutes the sheet gets thawed and it can be used to make puff.
To make stuffing :
add oil to a kadai, once heated add onion , chilli and saute for a few minutes.add rest of the vegetables one by one and saute. Now add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, garam masala, pav bhaji masala and cook for a minute. Sprinkle some water cover and cook for 5 minutes. After five minutes veggies cooks well and the stuffing is ready. Switch off the flame and let it cool down.
preheat oven to 200 degree Celsius for 5 minutes.
stuff cooled mix into pastry sheet, seal edges by applying water, place it on a baking tray which is lined with baking paper. Milk wash all the puffs and bake at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes. After 20 minutes freshly baked crispy yummy veg puffss are ready to serve. Apply ghee on top of puffs soon after taking them out of the oven and enjoy with ketchup and a cup of tea.
