Ever since the new Kaohsiung Station opened, it’s been flooded with people. Now, a dance practice area has been added to the lobby, featuring 360-degree wraparound mirrors just like a professional dance studio. Dancers are thrilled they no longer need to line up for the chance to practice.
These kids have incredible moves, stunning the audience with their skill.
Students take turns showing off their moves in this recessed plaza of the brand-new Kaohsiung Station. The area has been converted for street dancing, attracting dancers from all over.

Our school will also have group practice. Now we’re not limited to just the cultural center. We can also go here. It’s also close to campus.
The 360-degree mirrors make it feel like a professional dance studio, and there are outlets on every wall to play music and practice freely. With more space, students no longer need to line up overnight to secure a spot.

Demand is high, so competition used to be pretty intense. You had to go super early to get a spot.

If you have speakers that need an outlet, this is a particularly convenient spot.
Lin Kai-hsuan
Kaohsiung Youth Bureau director
The space is excellent, transportation is convenient, and it’s safe and comfortable. It gives our students a huge place to practice.
To mark the official opening, nearly 100 dancers joined an event, energizing the new space with one classic K-pop song after another.
Feng Hui-sheng
Taiwan Railway president
I believe that many young people will bring their dancer’s energy to this practice area.
This free-to-use street dance area is attracting even more traffic, filling Kaohsiung Station with a palpable energy.
