Episode 11: “The Guyfriend Song”

The 11th episode is a music video for the song “Guyfriend” by Emezie, a tale of unrequited love and the friend zone. The Fisherman (Bobby Sykes) formally meets the Catfish (Mina Kim) when she causes trouble at the Fish Shack. After the Fisherman mysteriously washed up on the shore, The Bird and the Wolf took him in. He has no memory of what his life was before he appeared on the beach unconscious. Currently, the Fisherman works at the Bird’s diner the “Fish Shack” as a musical act and, of course, a fisherman.

One of the Fisherman’s most devoted fans is the Chubby Mermaid (Ayane Shiun) who sits quietly in the back of the diner unnoticed. Then, she suddenly notices that there’s a giant WANTED poster with her picture on it! Apparently, the notorious Tiger Fleet is after her!

Before she can make a quiet exit, a gang of Tiger Fleet grunts barge into the diner. The Chubby Mermaid thinks they’re after her, but they don’t even realize she’s the ChubbyMermaid. Instead, they’re after someone else…the Catfish! With the involuntary assistance of the Fisherman, the Catfish leads the harpoon wielding Tiger Fleet on a giant chase!

The Chubby Mermaid is afraid that the Fisherman might get hurt, so follows…
