Quinoa Tikkis (Air Fryer Method)
Ingredients:
1/2 cup cooked quinoa (completely cooled)
1 medium potato, boiled
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 green chilli, finely chopped
½ tsp pepper powder
½ tsp garam masala
½ tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
For coating:
2 tsp All-purpose flour
Water (to make thin slurry)
½ cup breadcrumbs (fresh or dry)
For air frying:
Oil spray or brush
Method:
Prepare mixture:
Mix quinoa, potato, onion, spices, salt .
Mixture should be firm and shapeable (not sticky).
Shape tikkis:
Make medium-thick round tikkis. Chill them 30 minutes (very important).
Dip each tikki lightly in all-purpose flour–water slurry
Roll gently in breadcrumbs until fully coated
Air fry:
Place tikkis on greased Air fryer sheet
Spray or brush oil on top
Air fry at 200°C for 10 minutes each side
Cook till golden and crisp, Enjoy this healthy snack with Tomato kethup.
