• Psalm 119:133 – “Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.”
• James 1:13-14 – “Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God… But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.”
• Hebrews 2:18 – “For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.”
• Matthew 26:41 – “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
• Genesis 39:9 – “…how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?”



💡 Insight:

Purity is more than an outward show it’s a war won or lost in the secret places of the heart and mind. Every thought, desire, and decision becomes a stepping stone toward either holiness or compromise. The Word of God and the presence of Jesus are not distant ideas; they are active forces that shape our resistance to temptation.

Joseph fled from sin not because it wasn’t available but because he loved God more. Jesus endured every temptation we face and now offers real strength to stand firm. Temptation doesn’t define you your response to it does.



🙏 Prayer:

Holy God,
Search my heart and cleanse my thoughts. Keep sin from ruling over me. When I am tempted, remind me that You understand my weakness and are ready to help. Guard my mind, my hands, and my steps. Teach me to watch and pray, not sleep in the hour of testing. Help me to treasure You above every fleeting desire. I want to be faithful in private and public, because I love You. Keep me from falling, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
