Spectacled caimans (Caiman crocodilus) are known for their more social behavior compared to many other crocodilian species. They often form groups, especially during the dry season when water sources become scarce, leading to higher densities of individuals in the remaining available water bodies. These groupings can consist of dozens to hundreds of individuals, depending on the size of the water body and the population density in the area.
