Richard Briers was a successful Bertie Wooster in a long series of radio adaptations (opposite Michael Hordern as Jeeves) and so there is a poetry in his appearing here as an ageing, troublemaking uncle... a young Hugh Grant also stars - and needless to say, his very precise tones could not be more at home than here in a Wodehouse story...
