Here I show how I fitted a scale body to my OMP Hobby M1 helicopter.
I converted a Revell plastic kit of an Airbus H145 into a flying model.
I made a new mainshaft from 3mm silver steel, & the links were cut & extended with carbon fibre strip.
There is a very small groove in the links already & the carbon strips fit perfectly, the joints were bound with thread then ca glue soaked in to seal the job.
