This kiln is extra special because not only am I revealing my very first AirPen slip-trailed pieces, but I’ve also taken a bold leap by using new glaze combinations I’ve never tested before!

Normally, I’m all about test, test, test before committing to a piece, but this time… I went a little rogue! 🙈 After some amazing recommendations, I decided to try out fresh Mayco, Amaco, and now Spectrum glaze combos straight onto pottery pieces. To balance the risk, I also included 80+ new test tiles to see how these glazes interact before committing even further.

Will these new glazes be stunning or a disaster? Will my AirPen slip trailing survive the kiln fire? Watch as I open the kiln and share the results!
