This is a Tom and Jerry cartoon that I transcribed and played on my senior percussion recital at Belmont University. I took the liberty of developing sound effects that fit most of the cartoon, synced it up accurately with a metronome, arranged the music, and performed all the xylophone solos (with some improv). With the help of an audio specialist to create a click track and 15 musicians (plus a conductor) we were able to bring this music back to life.
Sorry for the low quality, but ironically this was the only person who actually recorded, so I'm grateful enough for that. The first half is me doing my "thank yous" (since it was my closer), so feel free to skip that part. Also, this was mainly for a percussion recital, and the musicians were simply doing this voluntarily...plus it was some hard music, so please don't criticize the performance. No copyright infringement intended, this was for educational purposes only.
