Microfreak, Tascam Tape Loop, NTS-1 - Free to Stay

Описание: Inspired by a friend on the 'gram (@shipwreckdetective), I picked up my bass to make a few quick tape loops on the Tascam. The first track is some swells with third (up an octave, so 11th?) intervals. Track two is the dotted 8th note delay trick with a muted high G note. The fourth is a bass line I played on the B side, then turned the tape around to have it play in reverse.

Microfreak recorded a bandpassed pad onto the third track.

For the Microfreak arp patch, I'm using the noise oscillator with two 32-long arp patterns saved as sequences. This is one of the coolest features of Microfreak since it lets you create a random pattern using the length, notes pressed, and octaves desired. After that you hold shift and select either sequence A or B and it saves the pattern as a sequence. I'm tweaking the wave and timbre and shape knobs to adjust the balance of noise to wave(i think it's a sine wave), the type of noise, and the rate of noise.

NTS-1 is only running FX: Chorus, Tape Delay, Space Reverb.
