El-P is my most favourite producer/rapper of all-time. He's been innovative since the 90s, have to mention Company Flow for paving the way though, proved it in the 2000s through Def Jux records, such as The Cold Vein by Cannibal Ox, his first solo album Fantastic Damage, along with the catalogs of Aesop Rock, Camu Tao, ... and finally found his mainstream success with Run The Jewels, consists of him and Killer Mike.
What I can say about his production? Hysterical but beautiful. It sounds so unique, straight banging to your ears without hesitation. He uses synths and complex layers of instruments, and put them in his beats since the 2000s, that's why his albums from early 2000s are still praised to this day.
But he's still a hip hop producer, started from sampling to make beats like any other producers that came up in the 90s. That's why we can still see some elements of sampling throughout his career, so I present to you this video. It's short, only up to RTJ3 but I will make a second part and put more tracks from his other albums, peace.
