Just to clarify :)
My husband is the one with DACA and I am a US citizen. I shared the process for each of us; there were certain things we had to do differently. Like we had different forms to fill out, and had to go to different areas like he was sent to secondary inspection because he was DACA with AP. I am the one recording which is why you see the US passport, my husband traveled with his Mexican passport.
Feel free to ask any questions, I will reply to the best of my ability. Keep in mind that I am in no way a lawyer, I am just a little bit knowledgable about AP because I did plenty of research on it.
This took place in September 2021, only a negative test was required. Please take into consideration that the new vaccine requirement began November 8th, 2021. From my understanding, DACA recipients will need to be vaccinated in order to be able to fly back to the US. Please do not risk flying without the vaccine.
