UMBC sophomore G/F Regimantas Ciunys has burst onto the scene in the middle of America East play. The 6'6 guard from Lithuania scored just 10 points in his freshman season, and 18 in his first 10 games of his sophomore. However, in his last five games, Ciunys has averaged 12.2 PPG, to go along with 6.6 RPG. Ciunys has shot an efficient 23/35 (66%) from the field, including 3 of 7 from deep. With Ciunys' increased role in the rotation, UMBC has won 3 of their last 5, after previously losing 11 of 12 games.
