For a long time, I carried small electric air compressors that plugged into a motorcycle’s accessory port. They worked… eventually. But they were slow, bulky, and not great for real-world travel.

This video is a hands-on review of the Woowind LP1 Smart Air Pump, a compact, rechargeable air compressor I’ve been traveling with and testing. Note: I've been using this pump since 2023, but here we are in 2026, and I’m still using it. It has officially earned its permanent spot in my panniers.

It works for motorcycles, bicycles, cars, sports equipment, and even air mattresses. It’s small, weighs under a pound (446g), and automatically shuts off when it reaches your preset pressure.
