Presidio Hills Golf Course is a historic, public 18-hole par 3 pitch-and-putt course located in San Diego's Old Town neighborhood. Designed by William Park Bell and opened in 1932, it is known for its affordable rates and is ideal for beginners, kids, or anyone wanting to practice their short game. 

Course information

Location: 4136 Wallace St, San Diego, CA 92110.
Hours: Open daily from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Weekend hours on Saturday and Sunday begin at 7:30 AM.
Note that closing times may vary.
Green fees: Approximately $12 per round, although some sources cite fees ranging from $8–$15
depending on the day of the week.
Tee times: Reservations are generally not taken, and players are advised to just show up.

Amenities: The course features a clubhouse, pro shop with essentials, and practice greens. Rental clubs are also available.

Course details

Length: 1,245 total yards, depending on the scorecard. The longest hole is around 90 yards.
Par: 54 for 18 holes.
Rating/Slope: Not rated.
Difficulty: Described as "difficult yet friendly," it's primarily designed for a challenging
short game and is considered welcoming for all skill levels.
Note: I used my putter and 50 degree wedge for all 18 holes.

Lastly, the greens for each hole are not smooth, so putting will be a challenge with the longer grass on them.
I enjoyed practicing my short game and the round lasted roughly 2 hours or less. Walking all 18 holes was about
2 - 3 miles, depending how straight you hit the ball. Enjoy!
