BMW M240i VS BMW 230i: The Better 2 Series!?

Описание: 👋 In todays head to head comparison we take a look at the BMW M240i and the BMW 230i! We have a similar 2 series from BMW, but with two very different buyers! The M240i is for the buyer who potentially wants to mod the car and have that power and performance. The 230i is for the buyer who wants the sportscar look and efficiency!
The BMW M240i is a four seater sportscar that utilizes the B58 engine which is found in the Toyota Supra!! Being the BMW version though, it only comes with the eight speed automatic, all wheel drive becomes available and there are multiple configurations depending on how you want to spec it! The BMW M240i is a practical sportscar for everyday driving! Being a BMW it's well refined, comfortable and reliable! The exterior on this BMW M240i is a zandvoort blue metallic which isn't a new color, but now available for this two series, and aside from the color, it's pretty basic! However, you can spec these and option them being very well equipped!
The 2025 BMW M240i gets the updated steering wheel and the badges are slightly different, but that's about the only changes for this latest model.
The interior is very nice! Traditional BMW design! The latest model for the BMW M240i offers the larger curved gauge cluster and infotainment system and new shifter! I do like the new setup and it's super easy to use! The rest of the interior has a nice design and great materials!
The driving experience for this 2024 BMW M240i is great! It drives very similar to the automatic Toyota Supra! Handling will be similar, but it does weight more, and having the x-drive all wheel drive system as an option, that can help carry more weight through the turns! I have been in the BMW M2 and 230i and those both drive very well, so with the M240i being in the middle, it's going to perform very nicely for the performance settings!
This would be a great daily driver and one that has a lot of potential for tuning!
This is the all new 2024 BMW 230i Coupe! The newest 2 series from BMW finished in a nice two tone with the white and red interior! The new styling for the 2024 BMW 2 serious is very nice. Great lines all around and very wide fender arches. The tail lights have a 3D look and really add some aggression. The interior of the 2024 BMW 230i is all new with the massive screen and new shifter design. Door panels look cool and the seats are very padded. The interior tech is pretty nice with the digital gauge cluster and the large infotainment screen. The interior space in the 2024 BMW 230i was plenty for a 2 door car and you get useable rear seats and a nice trunk. Driving the 2024 BMW 230i was nice! There really isn't much power out of the 4 cylinder engine however, but after driving one in the mountains, with the right package it's a blast to drive. You can feel the turbo torque down low, and it gets up to speed fine. But it falls flat on its face after that initial torque curve. With the driving modes, you could definitely tell a difference which was nice to see. Eco mode had some serious throttle delay, Comfort mode was slightly better, and even in sport mode, it still could have used sharper throttle response to be fun, but had improved response over eco of course. The handling is surprisingly good and especially with the M sport package and handling package! It's a comfortable car for sure and will be a great daily driver. It is a sporty looking car, not exactly a sportscar, but has slight performance to it. The BMW M240i will have great handling and power over this and especially the BMW M2, but the 2024 BMW 230i is still an enjoyable sportscar to drive. Overall the new 2024 230i is a good little BMW for those wanting a sporty looking comfortable car at a good price.
