Описание: In 1889, the city of Freiburg im Breisgau had to be evacuated due to a horrific stench. Two chemists - Baumann and Fromm had synthesised something called 'thioacetone', and for a half a mile in every direction, members of the public started vomiting and fainting. Thioactone has been described as the stinkiest chemical of all time. This video describes it's foul history.
